Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sage 300 and Crystal Report Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining solutions within the Sage 300 (formerly known as Sage Accpac) ERP system and creating Crystal Reports to meet the organization’s reporting needs. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Sage 300 Development:
   • Customize and extend the functionality of the Sage 300 ERP system to meet business requirements.
   • Develop and maintain custom modules, screens, workflows, and reports within Sage 300.
   • Implement and integrate third-party solutions and enhancements as needed.
   • Perform system configurations, data imports, and upgrades.
2. Crystal Report Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain Crystal Reports to generate timely and accurate business intelligence.
   • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective report designs.
   • Optimize and enhance existing Crystal Reports for improved performance and usability.
   • Create ad-hoc reports and dashboards as requested by business users.
3. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
   • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and IT staff.
   • Investigate and resolve issues related to Sage 300 configurations, customizations, and Crystal Reports.
   • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
4. Documentation and Training:
   • Document technical specifications, configurations, and customizations for future reference.
   • Create user guides and training materials to educate end-users on Sage 300 functionality and Crystal Report usage.
   • Conduct training sessions and workshops to empower users to leverage the full capabilities of the system.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Sage 300 (Accpac) development and customization, including working with SDK,
• Strong proficiency in VB6, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL, and Crystal Reports.
• Strong proficiency in Crystal Reports development, including designing complex reports, sub-reports, and parameterized reports.
• Experience with ERP systems implementation, configuration, and integration.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL querying.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or proven related field experience.
• 3 to 5 years work experience .
• Relevant certifications in Sage 300 and Crystal Reports development are a plus.
